For a long time, Vulcan customers have had the power to track their order from the palm of their hand on the jobsite, in the office, and anywhere on the go with the Delivery Tracker. This incredibly valuable and unique customer engagement and communication tool has gotten even better with a new design and some new features! Here’s what has changed.
General Layout
Section 1 - Order Details
All of the order details appear at the top of the screen with some details moved and a few new ones added. The customer name, delivery window, a shortcut menu (3-dot menu), and a button to call dispatch have been added.
The In Progress and Delivered amounts have moved above the progress bar to make room for the Scheduled amount below.
The new shortcut menu provides you with access to:
- Call Dispatch
- Verify Delivery Instructions to view the hauler delivery instructions entered on the dispatch order
- Download E-Tickets. An email with a link to a .zip file containing all E-Ticket images and a .csv file containing all ticket data will be sent to the emails associated with the order at the conclusion of all deliveries. Use the pop-up modal to add emails.
- Vulcan Managed Inventory. When Vulcan Managed Inventory is utilized for the selected destination, this menu option will appear and link to the current inventory measurements.
Tap the phone icon to place a call directly to Dispatch. Tap the REORDER button to start a reorder request.
- Sales Order # added to the Reorder Request screen.
- Ability to select a different material type to be reordered.
Section 2 - Key Performance Indicators
We’ve added two Key Performance Indicators to the main screen. Tapping either of these graphs will display the detailed, hourly graphs for each indicator.
Section 3 - Menu Buttons
The previous four menu buttons - INSIGHTS, LOAD DETAILS, IN PROGRESS, and DELIVERED - have been replaced by simpler IN PROGRESS and DELIVERED buttons with map icons to access the map for In Progress and Delivered loads respectively.
Tap the IN PROGRESS button to show all In Progress cards. Tap it again to remove the In Progress filter and show all cards. Tap the DELIVERED button to show all Delivered cards. Tap it again to remove the Delivered filter and show all cards.
These buttons now “stick” at the top of the screen when scrolling through the cards. Scroll down with both buttons deselected to reveal all cards in order by nearest to the job site with delivered loads at the bottom.
In Progress Loads
Tap the In Progress menu button to view all In Progress loads.
- The location of all in progress loads.
- E-Ticket icon. Tap to display the E-Ticket for the selected load.
- Load Location icon. Tap to display the current location.
- Load shortcut menu. Tap to display the shortcut menu options.
- Load Actions. Tapping Download E-Ticket from the shortcut menu (above) or from the load actions will display the E-Ticket in a new mobile browser window that can be saved to your device.
Delivered Loads
Tap the In Progress menu button to view all In Progress loads.
- The location of all delivered loads relative to the drop zone.
- Destination cycle time. When the actual load’s cycle time is greater than the estimated cycle time, the time will show in red.
- E-Ticket icon. Tap to display the E-Ticket for the selected load.
- Delivery Location icon. Tap to display the delivery location relative to the drop zone.
- Load shortcut menu. Tap to display the shortcut menu options.
- Load Actions. Tapping Download E-Ticket from the shortcut menu (above) or from the load actions will display the E-Ticket in a new mobile browser window that can be saved to your device.
