What is Low Power Mode (iOS)/Power Saving Mode (Android)?
Low Power Mode (LPM) or Power Saving Mode (PSM) reduces the amount of power that your mobile device uses when the battery gets low.
What does this have to do with Trux Drive?
When a device has LPM or PSM enabled, it can interfere with location data by disabling the transmission of important GPS data when the device is not in use (e.g., when you are driving and your device has "gone to sleep").
What do I need to do?
The easiest thing to do is not turn on LPM or PSM on your device. Alternatively, you can choose to exempt the Trux Drive app from being impacted by this mode. Here's how.
iPhone Devices
STEP 1: Select the Settings on your phone and select Screen Time
STEP 2: Select Always Allowed
STEP 3: Select TRUX Drive from the list of apps to always allow
STEP 4: Confirm that TRUX Drive now appears in the list of ALLOWED APPS
Android Devices
STEP 1: Select the Settings on your phone and select Battery and Device Care
STEP 2: Select Battery
STEP 3: Select Background Usage Limits
STEP 4: Select Never Sleeping Apps
STEP 5: Select the +
STEP 6: Select TRUX Drive and select Add
