Truck Owners can Accept jobs for which they have been specifically requested by a contractor or material producer. They can also Claim jobs that are available on the TRUX Marketplace. This article describes how Truck Owners accept and claim jobs on TRUX Drive. Watch this video to see how.
To Accept jobs for which you have been requested
From the Home screen, tap Jobs on the navigation menu.
From the Jobs screen, tap on the individual job for which you have been requested to view the job details.
- Jobs for which you have been requested by a contractor or material producer will be listed with a status of Requested.
- Jobs that are available for you to claim from the TRUX Marketplace will be listed with a status of Available.
Tap ACCEPT JOB to accept the job request.
- View the details for the REQUESTED JOB, including truck type, start date and time, locations, and material to be hauled (NOTE: You will be able to see the full address once you accept the job).
- Tap ACCEPT JOB to accept the job.
- Tap DECLINE JOB to decline the job.
- You can view additional job details, including the rate and specific instructions entered by the contractor/material producer. NOTE: You, as a truck owner, will see the job rate. Your drivers will not see rates on jobs that you assign to them.
Select a Driver to assign them to the job and tap NEXT.
Select a Truck, and tap CLAIM JOB.
The accepted job now appears on the Jobs screen on the My Jobs tab with a status of SCHEDULED. If you assign one of your drivers to the job, the scheduled job will also appear listing the assigned driver.
Tap the SCHEDULED JOB to view more job details.
- View start date, time, and full address information for the SCHEDULED JOB.
- Tap CANCEL JOB if you wish to cancel the UPCOMING JOB. Please review our trucker cancellation policy.
- Tap PUNCH IN to start your job. You may punch in as early as 5 min before the scheduled start time.
- Tap CUSTOMER to call the customer who posted the job. NOTE: If this button is labeled SITE, tapping it will call the site contact who will be receiving your delivery.
- Additional job details, including job instructions, appear on the Details tab.
Tap the Locations tab to view the job locations on a map.
- View all job location details on the Locations tab.
- View the job Start and End locations
- Tap Open in maps to open your device's default mapping app to navigate to the Start (PLANT) or End (JOB SITE) location with the address pre-populated.
- On the map, you may see icons for the job Start Location, in this case, the JOB SITE ( ), the End Location, in this case, the PLANT ( ), and your Company location ( ).
To Claim available jobs
From the Home screen, tap Jobs on the navigation menu.
From the Jobs screen, tap on an available job to view the job details.
- Jobs for which you have been requested by a contractor or material producer will be listed with a status of Requested.
- Jobs that are available for you to claim from the TRUX Marketplace will be listed with a status of Available.
Tap CLAIM JOB to accept the job request.

- View the details for the AVAILABLE JOB, including truck type, start date and time, locations, and material to be hauled (NOTE: You will be able to see the full address once you accept the job).
- Tap CLAIM JOB to accept the job.
- You can view additional job details, including the rate and specific instructions entered by the contractor/material producer.
Select a Driver to assign them to the job and tap NEXT.
Select a Truck, and tap CLAIM JOB.
The accepted job now appears on the Jobs screen on the My Jobs tab with a status of SCHEDULED. Both your jobs and jobs you have claimed for your drivers will appear on this screen.
Tap the SCHEDULED JOB to view more job details.
- View start date, time, and full address information for the SCHEDULED JOB.
- Tap CANCEL JOB if you wish to cancel the UPCOMING JOB. Please review our trucker cancellation policy. If this is one of your jobs (where you will be driving), you will see a PUNCH IN button. You may punch in as early as 5 min before the scheduled start time. The above example shows a job you claimed and assigned to one of your drivers, so the PUNCH IN button does not appear.
