Brokers can Accept jobs for which they have been specifically requested by a contractor or material producer. They can also Claim jobs that are available on the TRUX Marketplace. This article describes how Brokers accept and claim jobs on TRUX Drive. Watch this video to see how.
To Accept jobs for which you have been requested
From the Home screen, tap Jobs on the navigation menu.
From the Jobs screen on the Available tab, tap on the individual job for which you have been requested to view the job details.
- Select a date to view all available jobs for that date.
- Jobs that are available for you to claim from the TRUX Marketplace will be listed with a status of Available.
- Jobs for which you have been requested by a contractor or material producer will be listed with a status of Requested.
View job details on the REQUESTED JOB details screen. Tap ACCEPT JOB.
- REQUESTED JOB summary showing start time, start and end location(s), and material to be hauled.
- Tap ACCEPT JOB to accept the job. Tap DECLINE JOB to decline.
- View all of the information associated with a job on the Details tab, including the rate, instructions, and truck type(s) required.
Assign to your own fleet or your brokered owners.
- Tap YES to accept the job and assign it to a driver in your fleet.
- Tap NO to accept the job and assign it to one of your brokered owners/subs.
Select a Driver and tap NEXT.
Select a Truck and tap CLAIM JOB.
Your accepted job will appear on the Jobs screen on the My Jobs tab.
- On the map, you may see icons for the accepted job Start Location, in this case, the JOB SITE ( ), the End Location, in this case, the PLANT ( ), and your Company location ( ).
- Tap a date to see scheduled jobs for the selected date.
- Tap the scheduled job to view the job details.
- View the details of your SCHEDULED JOB including start time, complete start and end location information, and material to be hauled.
- Tap CANCEL JOB if you wish to cancel the scheduled job. Please review our trucker cancellation policy.
- Tap PUNCH IN to begin your job. You will be able to punch in up to 5 min before the job start time.
- Tap CUSTOMER to call the customer who posted the job. NOTE: If this button is labeled SITE, tapping it will call the site contact who will be receiving your delivery.
On the job details screen, tap Location to view the Start and End Location for the job.
- All of the location details for the scheduled job will appear on the Locations tab.
- The job Start Location ( ), the End Location ( ), and your Company location ( ) are shown.
- Tap Open in maps to launch your device's default map app to navigate to the start and/or end location.
- The job Start Location ( ), End Location ( ), and your Company location ( ) will appear on the map.
To Claim available jobs
From the Home screen, tap Jobs on the navigation menu.
From the Jobs screen and the Available tab, tap on an available job to view the job details.
- Select a date to view all available jobs for that date
- Jobs that are available for you to claim from the TRUX Marketplace will be listed with a status of Available.
- You can view all of the information associated with a job on the Details tab, including the start date and time, the start and end locations, and the material to be hauled.
- Tap CLAIM JOB to claim the available job.
- View all of the information associated with a job on the Details tab, including the rate, instructions, and truck type(s) required.
Tap YES to claim and assign the job to one your drivers. Tap NO to assign to one of your brokered owners/subs.
Select one of your brokered owners/subs and tap CLAIM JOB.
The job that you claimed for your brokered owner/sub now job now appears on the Jobs screen on the My Jobs tab.
The job you claimed and assigned to your brokered owner/sub will appear on the Jobs screen on the My Jobs tab with a status of Requested. Once your sub assigns it to one of their drivers, the status will change to Scheduled and the assigned driver will be listed.
