Trux Customer Admin Tools: Update Shift Rates

Trux Construction users can update shift rates (of shifts you are paying) without your haulers having to re-accept the shift. This will make it easier to make updates to rate errors in your dispatch system without disrupting your workflow and keeping your dispatch software in line with your finance systems.

Update Shift Rates:

1. Navigate to the SHIFTS page and find the job you want to edit. (you will only be able to edit shifts assigned to company-dedicated drivers).
2. On the shift, click the Three Dot Menu (...) and find the ‘Edit Rates’ button.
3. Click on the ‘Edit Rates’ button to open a popup menu to edit the shift rates.
4. To update the rate click the ‘Charge Rate’ textbox and enter the new rate. (you will only be able to edit the charge rate NOT the rate type (hour/ton/load).
5. Once the rate has been updated you will be able to click ‘Save’ to lock in the new rate.
6. When you click ‘Save’ a confirmation page will pop up showing the Old Charge Rate and the New Charge Rate for you to confirm.
7. Confirm the new values to lock in the new charge rate
8. The new rate will be reflected on the shift with the updated payable amount.
