Filter Canceled Assignments
Sometimes you have dispatch assignments that you want to hide because they are cluttering your view, when you really want to focus on all of your scheduled or active assignments. So we’ve added a new Assignment Status filter that allows you to hide dispatch assignments based on their status. NOTE: Assignment Status selections will never remove a Dispatch Order from view. Only assignments that meet your filter criteria will be hidden.
Updated Dispatch Order velocity and scheduling calculations
We've updated some of the dynamic values and formulas used to populate the various number inputs for a Dispatch Order (a.k.a., the Velocity Calculator). The major components for calculating these values are Time (Order Duration and Cycle Time values), Amount (Quantity/Loads), and Velocity (Quantity or Loads per Hour).
- The Start and Delivery location inputs have been moved above the Time inputs.
- Estimated “Last Load Time” and “Last Unload Time” text labels have been added beneath the Time inputs. This makes it more natural in defining all inputs related to Cycle Time, before specifying things like Time and Velocity.
Importantly, End Time is meant to indicate not only when the Dispatch Order is ending in regards to scheduling, but it will also coincide with when the last truck is Loaded (at the Origin) in many scenarios. It is not meant to indicate when the final load arrives at the Delivery Location. When Stagger Interval is enabled, the End Time will more closely line up with the “Last Load” start time. - When Stagger Interval is enabled, the End Date/Time will be recalculated (depending on the field changed, such as Stagger interval or Velocity inputs). When Stagger Interval is not enabled, the End/Time will not be recalculated. While the user can manually adjust the Velocity when Stagger Interval is disabled, it won’t change the duration of the order, but it will update the “Last load start” and “Last load end” labels shown beneath the Time inputs.
A Stagger Interval specifies that 1 or more trucks are scheduled to be loaded everyx
minutes for the entire duration of the Dispatch Order. This time interval is meant to be a loose plan used at the Origin location and not necessarily a strictly enforced schedule. Cycle Time is still used to determine how many Trucks will be required to hit the Stagger Interval target, but the Cycle Time does not dictate the start time of each calculated load. - The Trucks Required is now calculated properly based on the duration of the order, velocity, stagger time, etc.
- Stagger Time and “Stay On” Complete By type can now be used together. The Trucks Required is not auto-calculated for “Stay On” jobs. Changing the Trucks Required for a “Stay On” job continues to calculate the number of Loads and amount of Quantity that could be completed within the duration of the Dispatch Order.
Truck license plate added to Delivery Tracker hauler cards
Not all trucks arriving at the job/delivery location will have a TRUX ID placards displayed or in clear view. In these cases, there is no way for Delivery Tracker users to identify which truck on site matches the hauler card they are acting on in the Delivery Tracker. So we've added the truck license plate to each hauler card. Here is what it will look like in two scenarios - with and without TRUX ID:
Remove products from Vulcan Managed Inventory in Delivery Tracker
We did not previously have a way to remove products from the Vulcan Managed Inventory section of the Delivery Tracker when they were removed from the StockPile system. We've fixed this. Now when a product is removed from StockPile, it is also removed from this widget in the Delivery Tracker.
Reword the "exceeded load threshold" tooltip
We've made a minor wording change to the tooltip message that displays when you roll your mouse over the OVERSCHEDULED tag on a dispatch order.
Additional plant added to Trux
We've added the Sanders Recycling plant to the Mideast North division in Trux.
