New Features and Enhancements
TRUX, Digital Dispatch, and Fleet Management
- Fleet Groups UI Enhancements - We have a lot of users who love to organize their fleet into groups. For users with larger numbers of groups, however, the tab-style presentation of fleet groups on both the FLEET and DISPATCH screens was becoming unwieldy. Consistent with other recent UI enhancements, we’ve changed Fleet Groups from a tab-style to a drop-down list on the FLEET, DISPATCH, and Materials DISPATCH screens.
- Performance Improvements - We continue to improve the screen loading performance throughout our applications and screens. In this release, we’ve improved performance specifically on the FLEET, DISPATCH, and JOBS screens.
Digital Dispatch
- Editing Geofences - the LOCATION Screen - Geofence accuracy can impact the accuracy and utility of cycle time reports and analyses. We’ve created a new LOCATION screen to allow users with the role of Location Operator to view, edit existing and create new (when missing) plant geofences.

- Over-Ordering Warning - We’ve added a warning message when creating dispatch orders. This message alerts dispatchers when they are over-scheduling trucking on an order. For dispatch orders that are set to "Complete by" Tons or Loads, we now show a warning if an assignment will exceed the Tons or Loads specified by the Dispatch Order. We also calculate and display by how much the dispatcher is “over-ordering” so they can adjust the assignment accordingly. A warning is not displayed for Stay On orders.
- Dispatch Orders is the new default tab - You spend more time managing and tracking progress on Open Dispatch Orders than you do on creating them from Sales Orders. So we’ve made the Dispatch Orders tab the default tab on the DISPATCH screen. This means the Dispatch Orders tab is now on the left, and the Sales Orders tab is now on the right.
- Auto-Select Completed Orders from Filter by Status - When a user moves from TODAY to YESTERDAY - the Completed selection in the Filter by Status filter will auto appear. If the user un-checks an auto-added Completed status, we do not re-check it as they move further into the past. Similarly, if they move forward in time to today, an auto-added Completed status is not unchecked.
Fleet Management
- Invite a Driver - Fleet Owners and Brokers can now “invite” truckers to download and install TRUX Now via text message. The message includes a link to the appropriate mobile app store (Apple or Android) based on the trucker’s device operating system as well as a reminder of the owner’s/broker’s Company Code that must be entered to be added to the owner’s/broker’s fleet.
- Disputes and Adjustments Added to Earnings Screen - Fleet Owners and Brokers can now view jobs that have been disputed and any adjustments that have been made to completed jobs, including the Shift ID #, Status, creation date, Driver & Company, Reason for the adjustment, and the Value.
