Freight Rate Configuration & Application
Freight rates can be configured and applied consistently throughout the dispatch workflow.
- Configure default and override freight rates by Sales Order Item, destination, and fleet at the truck level
- Enforced rate hierarchy ensures the correct rate is applied at dispatch and assignment acceptance
- Optional settings allow organizations to:
- Limit where overrides can be applied
- Restrict overrides to “All Truck Types” only vs individual trucks
- Allow dispatchers to modify destination level rates
- Applied rates are visible in dispatch orders and dispatch assignments in a read-only format
- Rate history and audit logs provide transparency into when and how rates were updated
Freight Rate Visibility for Haulers
Freight rate visibility is surfaced where appropriate, with strict role-based controls.
Freight rate visibility is surfaced where appropriate, with strict role-based controls.
- Truck Owners can see hauler pay rates on:
- Active dispatch assignments
- Historical assignments in the Trux Drive earnings view
- Drivers do not see any rate or monetary information
- Displayed rates reflect the value applied at the time of assignment acceptance
This ensures transparency for haulers while maintaining pricing controls and data protection.
