TRUX is developing our next generation mobile app for haulers. Called TRUX Drive, this new app will provide haulers with not only a new, more modern look but also new functionality aimed at helping you stay busy and grow your trucking business.
The following are some frequently asked questions about the TRUX Hauler Beta Program (beta program).
What is the TRUX Hauler Beta Program?
The beta program lets users try out our next generation mobile app before it’s finished and becomes available for everyone. "Why would I want to do that?" you might ask?
As a member of the beta program, you will help us identify potential issues and have the opportunity to provide valuable feedback on functionality that you feel is important for us to include. In short, you will be helping us shape the future hauler mobile app experience!
Please note that the beta software may contain some bugs. The good news is, that’s a big part of a beta program - to find and fix issues early and help make the next generation TRUX app the best it can be!
Who can participate?
The beta program is open to truck owners (and their drivers), independent haulers, and brokers who currently use TRUX Now to find, claim, and complete jobs. We are looking for a mix of different types of users (owners, independents, and brokers) of different sizes (small, medium, and large fleets) and from multiple geographies.
How will I know if I’ve been selected?
We will use the contact information associated with your TRUX account to let you know if you are selected as a test user.
What will I have to do?
Beta program participants will install our new trucker app, TRUX Drive (we will show you how). All you have to do is use it and provide us feedback! You may also occasionally receive questions from within the app itself (like the question/message inviting you to participate in the beta program!). These might be questions about how or when you are using the app, how certain parts of the app are working compared to the previous app, or other similar questions.
What if I have problems or questions?
If you encounter difficulty or have questions, you can contact Customer Support as you normally would at 800-485-1304 or directly from within the app itself.
Can I leave the beta program if I want to?
While we hope that’s not the case, you will certainly be able to exit the beta program and return to using the existing TRUX Now app. To do this, just delete the new Drive app and re-install TRUX Now from the Apple (for iPhone) or Google Play (for Android) stores from your device.
