A US DOT Number is mandatory for business entities operating vehicles greater than 10,000 pounds in 37 US states. It may also be required for vehicles transporting goods or people into those states from neighboring states (interstate commerce). That's why Trux collects the US DOT number for all approved haulers performing work on the Trux platform in states that require this number.
Fortunately, it's easy for you to update your number in Trux Drive. Here's how.
