A US Department of Transportation (USDOT) Number is mandatory for business entities operating vehicles greater than 10,000 pounds in 39 US states. A MC Number, also known as a Motor Carrier Number, is a unique identifier assigned to commercial motor vehicles that transport cargo crossing over state lines.
Trux requires haulers performing work on the Trux platform in states who require it to submit and maintain a valid USDOT and/or MC number.
